Small-Business Outlook Continues to Improve

Last week, NSBA released the 2013 Year-End Economic Report which shows continued gains in economic outlook and confidence among America’s small-business owners, with many indicators the highest they’ve been in six years.

2013 Mid-Year Economic Report

NSBA today released the 2013 Mid-Year Economic Report which shows an improved overall economic outlook for America’s small-business owners, among myriad other data.  When compared with five years ago, 40 percent of small-business owners said today’s economy is better off—the highest it’s been in five years.

NSBA Report: Small Business Outlook Not Good

The National Small Business Association (NSBA) today released its 2012 Year-End Economic Report, a snapshot of how small businesses are faring today. The result: small-business owners are feeling less optimistic about the outlook of their own firms and the overall U.S. economy than they did this time last year.

NSBA today released its Mid-Year Economic Report which shows small-business owners are less optimistic about the outlook of their own firms and the overall economy with 34 percent anticipating a recessionary economy in the coming year—the highest it’s been since December 2009.

2012 Small Business Access to Capital Survey

According to a NSBA’s 2012 Small Business Access to Capital Survey, released today, cash flow issues continue to plague a significant number of America’s small businesses, with nearly half (43 percent) reporting that they needed funds at one point in the last four years and were unable to find any willing sources.
