NSBA's Directory is exclusively available to our members.  If you've considered starting a small business, you've come to the right place, and we look forward to providing you with tools and resources, like our Directory, as a member of the nation's oldest small-business advocate!

Participation in the NSBA Member Directory requires registration and is exclusively available for our current members, active and in good standing.

Please find below the Terms & Conditions for businesses (“You”, The Business”, "NSBA Member(s)") having a listing on NSBA's Member Directory inside NSBA.biz and hosted at www.nsba.biz/directory (“We”, “Us”, “Our Directory”).

 

By continuing and registering an entry listing and using Our Directory, You are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

  1. NSBA Members shall ensure that the details provided in the listing are accurate and kept up to date. NSBA Members will be able to email NSBA to inform of any changes. The NSBA Member understands that any requested changes may not be immediately possible in the Directory once the amendment has been requested, but NSBA will work to accommodate all necessary edits and changes to further use and functionality of the Member Directory. 
     

  2. NSBA Members may decide to no longer list or remove its details from future issues of the Directory, but understands that once paid, NSBA membership fees are non-refundable for issues related to the Directory. 
     

  3. NSBA Members must ensure that the details provided to NSBA for inclusion in our Member Directory accurately reflect their products and services and the areas in which their services are available. We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion that we deem to be inaccurate or unacceptable.
     

  4. NSBA Members shall not sell or provide Services for any of the following prohibited items via our Directory:

    Offensive or obscene material, including those of an adult or sexual nature or promoting the sale of dangerous weapons;

    Stolen or damaged goods;

    Intoxicating liquor and tobacco (except where the Supplier is properly licensed;

    Illegal or prescription drugs;

    Items that infringe another party’s copyright, patent, trademark, design right, or any other intellectual property right;

    Products whose sale or distribution is prohibited by any applicable law; and

    Any other products that in our discretion we consider are to be excluded.
     

  5. If there is an error in the listing, NSBA will not be liable unless this is caused by default or neglect.
     

  6. NSBA's Member Directory provides the opportunity for registered NSBA Members in current good standing to contact the Business of the NSBA Member entry using the details supplied to NSBA by the NSBA Member Business. NSBA Member Businesses agree to accept these contacts. NSBA takes no responsibility for the information transmitted to you via Our Directory.
     

  7. NSBA Members shall not upload, post, email or transmit any unauthorized promotional or advertising materials or any other form of solicitation to users who make enquiries about listings in the NSBA Member Directory.
     

  8. NSBA Member Businesses agree to fully indemnify NSBA and keep NSBA fully indemnified against any loss damage or costs incurred by us as the result of the Business’s use of NSBA's Member Directory howsoever and whensoever arising.
     

  9. These terms and conditions form a legally binding contract between the NSBA Member Business user and NSBA in relation to the use of the NSBA Member Directory. When the NSBA Member Business is contacted by a customer in relation to Services listed in the NSBA Member Directory then the transaction for the supply of services is entered into between the NSBA Member Business and the prospective customer contact/interaction on the NSBA Member Business’ terms and conditions or as otherwise agreed between the NSBA Member Business and the customer. NSBA has no liability to NSBA Member Businesses for the Member Business’s use of the NSBA Member Directory and/or for a customer’s behavior, and payment and the NSBA Member Business contracts with a customer are at the NSBA Member Business’s own risk.
     

  10. All NSBA member dues are paid upon registration to the general organization, indicated on the invoice sent by NSBA membership team and are subject to change. NSBA will not increase your fees once you have paid for a calendar year. If NSBA does increase the general membership fees before the end of of an NSBA Member's membership period, then the Member's fee will stay the same until the Member comes to renew their membership, whereby the Member will be charged the current rate and asked to continue their listing in the NSBA Member Directory.  NSBA reserves the right to terminate NSBA Members' contracts at any point without prior notice should the NSBA Member breach these terms and conditions. Membership fees are non refundable for issues related to the NSBA Member Directory. 
     

  11. NSBA accepts no responsibility or liability for any comments made against NSBA Members' Business listings via third party apps e.g. on social media.
     

  12. NSBA will endeavor to make the NSBA Member Directory available for members registered in the Directory and that are in current good standing, but NSBA cannot guarantee that the Member Directory will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free and can accept no liability for its unavailability. NSBA Member Businesses must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of any part of the NSBA Member Directory and, in particular, NSBA Member Businesses must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any part of the NSBA Member Directory.
     

  13. NSBA may alter these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new versions at www.nsba.biz/directoryterms, following which all use of Our Directory will be governed by that version. NSBA Member Businesses should check the terms and conditions regularly.
