On Sept. 14 and 15, NSBA will be holding its annual Washington Presentation in Washington, D.C. where small-business owners will get the latest updates from policy experts, attend a White House briefing, and have time to network with each other. Kicking off the event on Sept. 14 will be the Advocate of the Year Award luncheon, where the winner is announced and all finalists are recognized.
The following day, participants are treated to a Congressional Breakfast where various lawmakers address the group, and then set out for meetings with their Representative and Senators. A new component this year, the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy is hosting a symposium, The Small Business Capital Crunch: Debt and Equity on Thursday afternoon in conjunction with the Washington Presentation. All Washington Presentation attendees are invited to attend this meeting.
