NSBA Releases Energy Survey
July 28, 2006
A recent NSBA survey found that 43 percent of businesses have been affected by rising energy costs and 76 percent of those surveyed believe reducing these costs would increase their profitability.
Additionally, 24 percent say they travel more than 150 miles per day using business vehicles.
Sixty-eight percent of those surveyed would be willing to lease or buy an alternative-service vehicle if it provided significant overall cost reduction per mile of use. Moreover, 66 percent would consider buying a hybrid vehicle because of the added tax incentives.
Full survey results are available in the survey section of the NSBA Web site.
