Bill Offered to Provide Tax Credit to SBIR Investors

Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) recently proposed a new bill that would provide a tax credit to investors of SBIR award winners, and other qualified small businesses. Called the Innovative Technologies Investment Incentive Act of 2010, This program is based off a similar law in Maryland that has proven highly successful.

Congressman Van Hollen has circulated a Dear Colleague Letter asking for support and cosponsors, and we urge you to contact your Representatives and ask them to add their name to the list of cosponsors.
