Administration Seeks Input on Exporting Issues

April 27, 2012

The Presidentís Export Council, Subcommittee on Export Administration (PECSEA) is a federal advisory committee that provides industry advice to the U.S. Department of Commerce and Administration on issues related to export controls. The PECSEA Benchmarking Subcommittee developed a survey on the impact of export controls and priorities for export reform. This survey provides an important opportunity for small firms to make their voices heard on the important issue of export controls and reform. The survey is designed to take only 15 minutes to complete.

The data generated by the survey responses will be utilized by the PECSEA to provide recommendations related to export reform and the impact that export controls have on U.S. exporters. An active advocate for improved export controls and removing barriers to expanding small- and mid-sized exporting, NSBA and its international trade arm, the Small Business Exporters Association, are strongly encouraging all members to take the survey to ensure ample small-business data and opinion is gathered.

The survey tool is anonymous and providing contact information in the survey response is optional. Responses should include only information that is not proprietary or business sensitive. Please provide only one response per company, all surveys must be completed by June 1, 2012.

Please click here to take the survey.
