Defense News Article on SBIR Reauthorization Effort

Defense News, one of the top news sources for defense and military related issues, recently wrote an article on the state of SBIR reauthorization, and how it is effecting the US Department of Defense as well as American small business military contractors.

In the article, representatives from the DOD and SBIR winning small businesses praise the program, and bemoan the fact that a long-term reauthorization has not been passed by Congress.

Amongst the people quoted in the article is SBTC Board Member Heidi Jacobus, who credits the SBIR program for providing the funds necessary to help get her business, Cybernet Systems of the ground.
