In response to the oil spil in the Gulf of Mexico, BP has established a claims process through which small-business owners can attempt to recover damages for loss of profits and earning capacity, or property damage.
Claims can be filed on-line or over the phone, and BP's claims adjusters will then begin processing your claim. Small-business owners must provide documentation of economic loss directly as a result of the spill.
