SBA Seeks Ideas on How to Establish Lending Portal
April 8, 2008

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking innovative ideas from the small-business industry (and its lenders) on ways to leverage the SBA’s web presence and establish an e-commerce portal through which small businesses could locate available capital. The SBA website receives approximately 1.9 million visitors per month.

Although not an official solicitation or contract offer, the SBA has issued a Request for Information from potential vendors interested in establishing a lending portal that would connect small business loan applicants with commercial lenders.

All responses are due by April 28, 2008.
