NSBA President Talks Middle Class and Small Business
Earlier today, NSBA’s Todd McCracken joined the National Journal, the Atlantic and Allstate as a speaker at the Summit on the State of the Middle Class where the most recent Allstate-National Journal Heartland Monitor Poll was unveiled. McCracken provided the small-business perspective.
New NSBA Survey on Taxes: Complexity is Number One Problem

NSBA today released the 2013 Small Business Taxation Survey which provides detailed insight on how small businesses are impacted by federal taxes, among the key findings: one-in-four report spending 120 hours or more per year on the administration of federal taxes.

NSBA today released its 2013 Workforce and Immigration Survey. Among the key findings: while only 17 percent employ immigrant workers, nearly half of respondents said they rely on highly-skilled workers with a STEM background, driving broad agreement that a new visa category ought to be created for highly-skilled workers.
